Christmas time will be here before you know it.  During this season most of us are busy inviting guests for amazing food, going to a Christmas tree lighting and parade, and wanting to get those photos for the Christmas cards, Facebook posts or emails sent out to your friends and relatives. Whew, that is a lot of pursuits!!!

But, each year we all love to have memories of our past Christmas season with just the right photos. From the enthusiastic looks on the children’s faces to the gathering of one, two, and sometimes three generations together, each year should be special in every way. But you have to start your photo sessions early to get them in the mail or online with plenty of time to spare.

So, allow me to share some suggestions with you for this season. This time of year, you have a couple of very amazing photo options:

One choice would be to set up an appointment with your local photographer. Santa can give you names of several good people in our area who will treat you fairly and will give you pictures that you will cherish for years to come as you and your family sit with Santa for this festive moment. Just write to me and I will get their names for you.

The second option is to gather together as a family or put together a special group of your own, and of course Santa, and take your personal photos for this extraordinary Christmas.  Santa will be arriving for this event sharing lots of joy and excitement, appearing in his plush traditional Santa suit, and toting his red velvet Christmas bag over his shoulder as he remains in character for the whole photoshoot. Santa will also be singing some songs, and telling a few magical stories about the North pole and his adventures there, as well as getting the updates on what each child wants for Christmas, (and Santa can also help you set up just the right photos).

But you need to hurry because you will probably want to get all the photos completed during November so you can choose the ones you think are the best and then deliver them as soon as possible.

Just think: With Santa already hearing from the children about their wishes for Christmas, the family together for fun and the joy of Christmas, singing Christmas Carols, and the personal visit with Santa accomplished….you have over half of those special Christmas activities already completed…..MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
